A small step for sustainable research: Launching Supporter Tiers

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible interest and support you’ve shown for my deep-dive reports on Silicon Photonics and AI Hardware over the past few months.
I was particularly moved by those of you who proactively made Pledges to support my work even before I enabled paid options. It’s a powerful validation that the 6+ hours of research I put into each weekend article is providing real value to this community.
Today, I’m officially enabling the “Paid Subscription” feature on Substack.
However, I want to be crystal clear about one thing: I have no intention of creating a paywall that restricts access to my core content.
I believe the insights I share should reach as many people as possible. Therefore, all my main deep-dive reports will remain FREE for all subscribers, just as they are now.
